What Is Normal in Denmark but Shocking in the U.S.?

What is socially acceptable in Denmark that would be horrifying in the U.S.? Female nipples, every which way.

In Denmark, you can see them in commercials and on billboards, and nobody cares.

Sexuality is seen as a natural thing — which it is. And that’s also exactly why sexual education is actual educational and informational in Denmark, as opposed to the abstinence-focused programs which are prevalent in the U.S., and which lead to significantly higher teenage pregnancy rates.

And since we are talking about nipples, we might as well mention those infamous outdoor baby naps: parents often leave their warmly dressed babies outside in strollers while shopping or having coffee — even in freezing temperatures. Somehow, it works out. (Babies are never stolen.)
